Founded in May 2025 by Anjeev Hurry, a seasoned lawyer and licensed insolvency practitioner with nearly two decades of experience, Advise & Act brings nearly 20 years of expertise to a new approach in legal management, positioning itself as a leading business partner for clients within law firms in Mauritius.

He was admitted to the Bar in Mauritius in 2008 and is a ranked lawyer in Chambers and Partners Global. He has developed a good practice for M&A transactions, debt capital markets and banking and project finance transactions, as well as an acumen for complex industrial, greenfield and brownfield projects. He also regularly advises on issues relating to company law, insolvency and restructuring matters and taxation. Our mini pupillage programme is designed for students eager to gain first-hand exposure to the dynamic environment of a corporate law firm, ideally with strong academic interest in law. For those seeking to build practical skills, our internships provide hands-on legal experience, making them perfect for motivated individuals with good organisational abilities, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. We also offer pupillage opportunities for law graduates ready to take the next step, best suited to candidates with solid academic foundations, excellent communication skills, resilience, and a clear commitment to a career in law.
